From Jan 2012 to Aug 2017, he was the post-doctoral research associate there and actively involved in research with Prof. C. M. Ryu. He is a faculty advisor of JIIT Optica chapter, life lifetime member of Plasma Science Society India (PSSI), and Association of Asia Pacific Physical Societies – Division of Plasma Physics (AAPPS-DPP).

Research Highlights

Dr. Anuraj Panwar's research interest includes theoretical and computational plasma physics with various applications to laser interactions with plasmas and atoms, plasmonics, and terahertz metamaterials. Currently, his research focuses on designing and modeling THz metamaterials, especially those exhibiting quantum phenomena like Fano resonance, electromagnetically induced transparency, PT-symmetry, and bound state continuum for creating tunable and broadband devices for THz sensing, imaging, and communication applications. Additionally, Panwar has made significant contributions to plasma-based terahertz generation, investigating techniques like relativistic electron beam interactions and optical rectification in semiconductors and plasmas. He has published more than 47 peer-reviewed papers in reputed international journals & international conferences and presented results in several international/national conferences.
