
Dr. Atul Kumar is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Jaypee Institute of Information Technology (JIIT), Noida, with over 15 years of teaching and research experience. He earned his Ph.D. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from JIIT, Noida, a M.Tech from the National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra, and a B.Tech from UPTU.
His research expertise spans Analog Signal Processing, VLSI Circuits and Systems, Current-mode Signal Processing, and Analog Circuit Design. He has authored over 60 research papers in reputed indexed international journals and conferences, with a citation count exceeding 805, an h-index of 18, and an i10-index of 32. He is recognized in Stanford University’s Top 2% Scientist list for the two consecutive years 2024 and 2025.
Dr. Kumar serves as a reviewer for leading international journals published by IEEE, Elsevier, Springer, and other reputed platforms, and is an Editorial Board Member for several journals, including the prestigious Scientific Reports (Springer Nature). He has filed a patent, completed a DRID-funded project at JIIT, successfully supervised one Ph.D., and is currently guiding three Ph.D. scholars.
