Biography

Dr. Lakhveer Kaur is an enthusiastic and accomplished Associate Professor in Department of Mathematics at Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, India. Known for her impactful research and a high H-index, she brings both depth and passion to the field of Mathematics. She has to her credit a vast experience of more than 12 years of teaching and research experience. Dr. Kaur began her academic journey at Panjab University, where she completed both her graduation and post-graduation. Her pursuit of advanced research led her to earn a Ph.D. in Mathematics from the prestigious Thapar University. Before joining JIIT, she enriched young minds as an Assistant Professor at Amity University, Noida. Her academic excellence has also been recognized nationally: she qualified the CSIR-JRF twice (June 2008 & June 2009), and was also selected for the Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Fellowship (June 2009), awarded to the top 10% of CSIR-JRF qualifiers. With her dedication to teaching, research, and mentoring, she continues to inspire and lead in the mathematical sciences.

Research Highlights

Dr. Lakhveer Kaur is a dynamic researcher, working in the Department of Mathematics at Jaypee Institute of Information Technology (JIIT), India, well recognized for her impactful contributions to mathematical sciences and an impressive H-index reflecting the strength of her research. She has published more than 55 research papers in high-impact international journals and authored three books in her area of expertise. Currently, she is serving as the Principal Investigator for a mathematical modeling project funded by the National Board for Higher Mathematics (NBHM), Department of Atomic Energy (DAE), Government of India. Dr. Kaur’s research excellence has been widely acknowledged across the globe.

She has been consistently listed among the "World’s Top 2% Scientists" by Elsevier and Stanford University for four consecutive years (2021–2024) — a remarkable international recognition. In 2024, she has been honored with the prestigious Trusted Reviewer Status by the Institute of Physics (IOP). She also received the Most Cited Article Award from IOP, based on citations tracked in the Web of Science database.
