Biography

Dr. Megha Rathi is an Assistant Professor (Senior Grade) in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering at Jaypee Institute of Information Technology. With over 14 years of academic and research experience, she specializes in Artificial Intelligence, Data Mining, Big Data, Health Analytics, Data Science & Analytics, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning. A university topper in her M.Tech program, earned her Ph.D. in the field of data and health science. She has contributed to a research project at the National Informatics Centre (NIC), Delhi, and has authored several books while publishing extensively in reputed journals, conferences, and book chapters. Additionally, she has edited multiple academic volumes. She has guided numerous undergraduate and postgraduate students on projects, dissertations, and industrial training, helping them gain valuable hands-on experience in their respective fields. Currently supervising three Ph.D. students.

Research Highlights

Developed AI-powered frameworks for breast cancer survivability prediction using Explainable AI and ensemble learning techniques, led research on personalized healthcare solutions for visually impaired individuals by integrating data mining and assistive technologies, and pioneered computational intelligence approaches for mental health crisis assessment during pandemics. She has also designed integrated disease prediction and recommendation systems for mobile-based healthcare applications and published extensively in SCIE, SCOPUS, and ESCI indexed journals, covering sustainable computing, healthcare analytics, and smart systems.
