Research Highlights

Dr Reema Budhiraja research primarily focuses on RF and Microwave Engineering, Substrate Integrated Waveguides, Fast-wave Devices, and Wireless Communication Systems. Her research focuses on various waveguide and antenna design technologies applicable to advanced communication systems. It begins with the analysis of a vane-loaded cylindrical waveguide, examining its potential applications in GYRO-TWT technologies and highlighting its impact on performance and efficiency. This is complemented by the design of a non-uniform cylindrical waveguide, which further explores innovations in GYRO-TWT systems, optimizing parameters to enhance signal processing capabilities. Additionally, the study delves into filter design utilizing Substrate Integrated Waveguide (SIW) technology, aiming for compact and effective solutions for signal routing and filtering in microwave applications. Finally, the research investigates the use of metamaterials to improve antenna performance, studying the effects of new materials on radiation patterns, gain, and overall efficiency. Collectively, this body of work contributes to enhancing telecommunications and microwave engineering through innovative design and analysis techniques, with her findings validated through publications in high-impact, indexed journals across SCI, ESCI, and Scopus databases.________________________________________
