Biography

Dr. Yogesh Gupta is an experienced academician having more than 15 years of teaching experience. He holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics from Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology (MNNIT), Allahabad and his Master’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Allahabad. He has a good number of research papers to his credit. During his association with JIIT, he has been actively involved in teaching various courses to B. Tech., M. Sc. and M. Tech. students. Through his participation in numerous academic and administrative committees, he has significantly aided in the development of the department and the institution. In order to foster interdisciplinary learning and cooperation, he has also played a key role in planning conferences, seminars, and faculty development programs.

Research Highlights

The prime focus of Dr. Yogesh Gupta’s research has been numerical solutions of differential equations. His collaborative research work also includes fluid mechanics, heat transfer, epidemic modelling etc. He has published over 25 research papers in peer-reviewed journals of international repute such as Journal of Thermal Analysis and Calorimetry, Journal of Applied and Computational Mechanics, Applied Mathematics and Mechanics, International Journal of Modeling, Simulation, and Scientific Computing and so on. He has also presented papers in conferences within and outside India.
