Biography

Dr. Shashank Goel is an Assistant Professor (Senior Grade) in the Department of Mathematics, Jaypee Institute of Information Technology. He has received a Ph.D. degree from the Department of Mathematics, M.D. University, Rohtak, Haryana in 2013. He has done M.Sc. in Mathematics in 2006 and a B.Sc. (Hons.) in Mathematics in 2004 from Kirori Mal College, University of Delhi, Delhi. He has experience of 17 years in teaching and research

Research Highlights

His current work focuses on using epidemiology and mathematical modeling to better understand the dynamics of disease in society. His background in functional analysis research enables him to examine the connection between environmental events and problematic behavior. Finding the factors influencing behavior and formulating theories regarding its function are its goals. This will assist him in determining the critical factors influencing the spread of the disease.

Areas Of Interest
  • Functional Analysis
  • Theory of Frames in Hilbert Spaces
  • Mathematical Modelling in Epidemiology
