Dr. Krishna Asawa is working with the department of CSE/IT, Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, Noida in the capacity of Professor. Other than JIIT, her employment associations were also with National Institute of Technology, Jaipur, India and Banasthali Vidyapith, India. She has received her Ph.D. degree in Computer Science in 2003 from Banasthali Vidhyapith, Banasthali, India. With over 25+ years of teaching experience, Dr. Asawa is a dedicated and passionate educator. She has designed and taught various undergraduate and graduate courses in the area of Data & Knowledge Engineering and Network Security. Apart from teaching she is an active researcher. Her research interest includes Soft Computing, Machine Learning, and Network Security. 70+ publications in refereed high impact journals and conferences are on her credit. Dr. Asawa has secured research grant from the All India Council of Technical Education, India and 5 PhDs are completed under her supervision. She is actively engaged in building Industry Institute linkages and collaborations at the department level. She has rich experience of organizing various academic events, curriculum planning & syllabus design etc. She is an editorial/review board member of numerous International referred Journals and Conferences. She has also served for key administrative roles at departmental & University level. She is also associated as external examinerand adjunct instructor with the other universities. She is also served as a resource person for conducting EDP’s sponsored by the Department of Science and Technology(DST) in the Rajasthan territory.
