
Prof. Lokendra Kumar is Professor in the Department of Mathematics. Prof. Kumar obtained his Ph.D. degree in 2004 in Mathematics (Computational Fluid Dynamics) from the Department of Mathematics, IIT Roorkee. He qualified UGC-CSIR JRF and NET (2000) in Mathematical Sciences and GATE (2001) in Mathematics. He has been with the Jaypee Education System since 2004. His research interest includes Computational Fluid Dynamics, Numerical Methods, Finite Element Methods and Mesh Free Methods. He has successfully supervised one post doctoral research fellow, five doctoral theses, six postgraduate dissertations and currently two other Ph.D. scholars are working under his guidance. He has authored over 54 research articles in reputed national, international journals and conferences. Prof. Kumar is associated with several professional bodies, including the Indian Mathematical Society, National society of fluid mechanics and fluid power, International Association of Engineers (IAENG).
