She has been awarded several extramural funding’s from various government agencies as a principal investigator. She has been granted 3 Indian Patents on her research work.

Research Highlights

Research Highlights : • Intranasal Drug Delivery Systems

Investigating intranasal routes for the effective delivery of anti-epileptic, anti-Alzheimer’s, and psychiatric medications, with a focus on bypassing the blood-brain barrier for rapid and targeted central nervous system (CNS) action.

• Nose-to-Brain Drug Delivery via Nano-formulations

Exploring the direct nose-to-brain pathway using nanocarriers in animal models to enhance CNS drug targeting and bioavailability.

• Drug Repurposing and Synergistic Combinations for Cancer Therapy

Identifying synergistic drug combinations and evaluating the anti-cancer potential of repurposed pharmaceuticals to develop novel, multi-targeted therapies.

• Nano-formulation Development for Enhanced Drug Delivery

Designing and optimizing nanotechnology-based formulations to improve the solubility, stability, and therapeutic efficacy of both single drugs and combination regimens.

• Surface-Modified Nanocarriers for Targeted Drug Delivery

Developing surface-engineered nanoparticles for site-specific delivery, aiming to reduce systemic side effects and enhance therapeutic outcomes in various disease models
